Try it out… Mango- avocado milk shake with sprouts mix filled puff pastries Puff Pastries with Sprouts Filling Ingredients: Sprouted mixed lentils and beans – 2 cups Paneer – 1 cup of small cubed Potato – 1/2 cup of small cubed boiled Mixed nuts( cashews, sunflower seeds, pine nuts, melon-seeds, raisins) – 1/4 cup Green chilies – 3 to 4 chopped Ginger – 1 inch grated or julienned Oil – 1 tbs Spices: Asafoetida (Hing) – 1 pinch Cumin seeds – 1 tsp Salt – as per taste Chaat masala – 1/2 tsp Dry mango powder – 1 tsp Garam masala – 1/2 tsp Pepperidge farm pastry puff sheets – 2 sheets Above list of ingredients is enough to make 12 puff pastries. Usual serving size is 2 puff pastries. Method: Heat oil in a pan, add asafoetida, cumin seeds, green chillies, ginger stir for a minute, add nuts roast them for a while, add sprouts and let it cook for a while until little soft. Add paneer and aloo stir and then add all the spices give it a good stir, switch off the heat cover it with a lid and let it sit. You can have this mix just like that also sprinkle some lemon juice and chopped cilantro on it. Puff’s assembly: thaw one sheet on room temperature for 40 minutes, roll it out a little and divide the sheet into 9-12 pieces. Roll out every piece into a square fill 1 tbs of mixture, wet the edges with water and fold it. Press the edges properly. Repeat the process for all the pieces. Pre-heat the oven at 400oF, place all the puff pastry on baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes. Mango-Avocado Milk Shake Ingredients: 2 Mangoes (Marathon from Indian store) 1/2 Avocado 1 cup of Milk Method: Blend everything together in a blender. Mangoes were so sweet that I didn’t add any sweetener in it. Topped with soaked chia seeds on milk. Didn’t taste any avocado could have gone for whole instead of half.
